Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Shilo Harris chose WIN as “the gateway to a new beginning.” Shilo, a Wounded Warrior, has designed his WIN franchise as a family business by employing his wife and son.

Leonard Curto, a U.S. Air Force veteran who lives in Thunderbird, AZ, is another former service member who took advantage of the program. “The WIN for America program is what caught my attention and brought me to WIN Home Inspection,” Leonard says. “It’s an amazing concept for veterans, and I’m grateful WIN has made this process easy for me to become my own boss.”

Sgt. Michael Ryan Palmer joined his parents in the family business in Bend, OR, in February 2013 after five years of active duty with the Marines. “Most of the guys I know are still trying to get back on their feet, and I was really lucky to have this business to come straight into,” Michael says. “I couldn’t ask for a smoother transition; I went from working in uniform to working in a WIN-issued polo. Bill Gray discovered the WIN Home Inspection franchise in 2010 when he was reading an article in “Air Force Times” magazine.
